Creating a LightBox in BB8

Hi all,

I was wondering if there's a way to create a LightBox effect in BB8. I've seen

that there's a tag in BB9 for this, but no clue if BB8 has something similar.

 

Has anybody tried to create something similar?

 

I figured that maybe I could use my own JS code for that, eventhough that would

be far not best practice - right?
